Even fully on-line services such as ebay, Amazon and Google still recognise the importance of communicating via creative design and printed communications, and they should be part of your overall sales strategy. Example 1: Plan-it
For several years we have produced the trade catalogue for Enterprise Inns plc, one of the leading chains of public houses in the UK. The catalogue is published each month promoting the range of beverages on offer to the landlords. We have recently redesigned the layout, giving it a fresh new look. The colour scheme changes with each edition, but the typography and layout is very consistent, making the deals easy to follow.
Example 2: DCUK Catalogue
Designer Chairs UK are an importer of dining furniture. Their main route to sale is via distributors, but have recently moved into the direct retail business. This required a new set of marketing materials focusing on their vast range of products. Our solution was for each range to have its own individual catalogue, which could be sent to prospective customers individually or as a whole, presented in a lusciously produced folder. The matt laminate finish and Spot UV adds a quality texture to the folder, similar to the feel people get when they touch the actual products.
Example 3: British Continental Food Brokers
The client is a major importer of bread and cake products, selling them to major chains and supermarkets within the UK. We designed a brochure which beautifully portrays the whole range of products, with different sections for each brand or range. This has helped to improve their image amongst the procurement divisions of their distributors. As well as the design, layout and print management, we also handled all the photography, of over 150 products.
