Example 1: Barcelona 2008
For INSOL Europe’s Annual Congress in Barcelona, we were asked to design and produce all the support materials, starting with the main branding. Picking up on the country’s vibrant national colours, we produced a logo which represented the country in a positive way, making sure to steer away from anything too ‘touristy’. The brand was successfully applied to all materials, including the set design.
Example 2: Berlin 2007
For the 2007 annual conference for R3, The Association of Business Recovery Professionals, we created a master theme based on the title of the conference - ‘Evolution/Revolution, it’s a whole new world’. The imagery was applied to all the conference materials, from initial invitations through to various brochures, a 200 page workpack and set graphics.
Example 3: Monaco 2007
Everyone associates Monaco with gambling and casino’s, but for INSOL Europe’s Annual Congress we wanted to make a positive association between the conference theme and the insolvency profession, rather than imply any notions of riskiness. Our solution was to design a spinning casino chip motif, overlayed on which was a map of the world, thus bringing together the international reach of the organisation, focused on the location as a centre of interest. Again, the theme was applied to the whole range of support materials from initial invitations, delegate brochures and workpacks, menus, powerpoint presentations and set graphics.
